Anyone else a bit over summer now? Jealous of other cities that are having rain? Longing for tracksuits, ugg boots, umbrellas, coats, and a nice hot chocolate? I am ready for that. Ready to retreat out of the harsh light, into the cozy warmth of winter. I am ready for stockings and boots, and long sleeves. And scarves! My favourite winter thing is definitely scarves (why does it look so weird spelled like that though... scarfs?). I suspect I am going to have to wait a bit longer, as the forecast is not letting up for a while... but I see the shadows getting longer, and feel the days getting shorter, so I know it is on its way.
