rainbow chard

Check out this rainbow chard (it's kind of like spinach). It was grown especially for The Colour H by The Perpendicular Pumpkin, for it's colourful, photograph-able properties, but has also been very enjoyable to eat and cook with. Just picking it and seeing those great colours is fun.

I adore that pop of hot pink in amongst all the green ^_^ Great photos! (as per usual ^_^)

thank you! It's quite easy to grow (well, I can say that because someone else planted it and all I had to do was water it) and totally worth it for the enjoyment factor.

Glad to be of service. Those colours really came into their own under your care.

only just came across these photos and wanted to tell you that sometimes I make spinach/ricotta cannelloni with the pink one (when my vegie gardener friend grows it)and it turns the ricotta a lovely shade of pink!
