Colourful crates outside the petrol station. Perth is in the middle of a heatwave (so much for my daydreams of winter the other day). Its not like a scorching 45 degree day type heatwave, more of a slow burning 35 degree day heatwave - that's been going for a MONTH. Over night temps are like 22, 23 degrees. Its vile. Claustrophobic even. There's just no relief, no breeze at night. Tempers are fraying, mine included. Patience is wearing thin. Interest in any activities other than not being hot is short lived. Oh well, this too shall pass. Its only weather.... Autumn starts tomorrow. Fingers crossed, some weather vaguely resembling autumn shall accompany it soon...
